Education is much more than just a business

HRD ministry looking for new education policy

Suggestion 1: HRD Ministry can workout the framework of one joint venture of government and private groups to start a new breed of schools. This will be known as Government Public School. HRD Ministry will raise government school buildings and then hire private public groups on contractual basis to run these schools under government rules and regulations. National Parents Association will inspect and monitor these schools periodically to give feedback for contract renewal purposes. People employed in schools are not to be treated as government employee. Because once contract of private agency is terminated then new agency will decide the fate of staff. 

It is like government will decide fee structure of school using own wisdom and will maintain quality management of these schools by hiring private groups to run it. Government should start these schools in big cities like delhi ncr first and just hang on we are not going to build government schools again like in past, but this time we want to make Government Public Schools. Employees are not government employee. The moment you make them part of government, then they shall become lazy as we know what it means "Government Job". No not at all. 

These english medium government public schools will change the image of government schools that we have in our mind. Who can compete with government if it comes to infrastructure or anything else. What will happen that people will first try to go to these government schools and if not successful then they will go to private ones. Dreaming do not cost anything. Let us dream it now.

Suggestion 2: 

In metropolitan cities some schools can offer special primary sections. The learning structure is designed for those mothers who can devote may be two hours with their kids in school. Obviously it will suit to house wives having a minimum basic qualification or more.  Moreover for mothers those are willing to understand and want to get actively involved in education of their child during initial few years. In these classes, for some time kids will learn along with their mothers and then without mothers for remaining few hours. These mothers will remain aware of everyday learning activities of their child and they will help own kids to learn and complete home work. Young educated and willing mothers can help their kids to remain regular and updated on everyday basis by knowing what is going on till class III. These few years can change destiny of your child. Do you know why? These little things your kid will learn during these initial few years may be very trivial for you, but think from your child’s perspective. Every little thing your child learns every day is something that is going to govern their destiny. You can make it beautiful for your kid. So idea is to help your child being regular in his studies to make them realize how important that is for them. Later only a little efforts from your side will keep these kids motivated for studies. It is difficult but if one can track everything related to kid during initial few years without fail then lot of chances are there for these kids to perform better in studies later in higher classes. Interested parents can do it with regular schooling by looking at everyday progress of their child.

Many people have understood the fact - Initial few years are very crucial for mental growth of child and academic performance in future. Help your child to move in right direction. Raising a child is like you are getting second chance to live but like another individual. Show them right path without forcing your own ambitions. 

  
Suggestion 3: India has already realized that every child has right to education so now we need to move one step further. For the national interest in the long run, we should isolate schooling as restricted profit entity with transparent finance system under the eye of parents association. In other worlds, after implementing system, we can say that in India schools are run as collective social responsibility under regulated financial system. Parents association on top will execute decisions on behalf of honourable president of India, after getting approval from the same. Individual parents association will work in coordination with one Parents Association of India under the supreme leadership of president of India. Many big people are there, who are always welcomed to contribute funds through Parents Association of India for the big cause of maintaining school education across India, statewise as collective social responsibility because we already have numerous business sectors to earn money from, so we can at least spare school education for the people, to be governed by the people under supreme leadership of president in coordination with hrd ministry. Slowly by declaring school education as national responsibility we can drastically reduce the cost of education and at the same time National Parents Association will ensure that one day, education actually becomes right of every child born in India.

Some norms in terms of finances must be exercised, so that schools may not extract any amount of fee they want, from parents. National Parents Association will keep a tab on accounts of those schools which has a certain minimum strength. Beyond schooling no change.

Initially people will resist and then slowly when implemented mind set will change. Some people will move away from education sector and then some other will join. Quality and everything else will not go down, as people may fear. Different segment of people will be interested in this area who are not that money minded.
